Tom Ford Neroli Portofino

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino

Neroli Portofino from the Private Blend range by Tom Ford is one of the original fragrances, which was released in 2007.
In contrast to many other fragrances from that time, Neroli Portofino still contemporary and offers a unique fragrance experience.

Neroli Portofino smells a bit like cleaning product after application.
Very fresh and citrusy, a bit biting/spicy.
He reminds me of a high-quality 5-star hotel on the beach

Since I am not the biggest fan of "fresh & clean" fragrances I found the fragrance quite boring and perceived it as an overpriced Prada L'Homme.
Many fresh fragrances smell very one-dimensional and do not really develop after application.
At first I could not perceive much difference between Neroli Portofino and other fresh scents, but after 30 minutes it developed into a addictive scent , which leads one to continue to smell Him.

If we compare the fragrance with the king of “fresh and clean” fragrances Prada L'Homme, Neroli Portofino much higher quality.
Most fragrances from Tom Ford use expensive ingredients and mostly avoid synthetic agents.
While Prada L'Homme is for a trained nose cheap and synthetic smells and can even cause headaches in some people, Neroli Portofino is just right for the experienced perfume lover who wants a high-quality "fresh & clean" fragrance.

The durability of the fragrance is very good for a fresh scent, you can still smell it after 3 hours. Of course, you can't compare the scent with the durability of sweet scents, but the projection of Neroli Portofino much better than other “fresh & clean” fragrances.

Neroli Portofino is in my opinion the perfect perfume for an important business meeting or a vacation at the beach.
Very suitable for the masses, but also special.
While most people are rocking Dior Sauvage/Armani Si for spring, Neroli Portofino would be a perfect alternative to stand out from the crowd.
