De Los Santos is a new perfume from Byredo for men and women and was published in 2022 .
The scent makes me think of a trip into the depths of the rainforest.
De Los Santos starts with a strong woody sage note, but does not smell synthetic at all, more like a refreshing and sparkling breeze.
The Ambroxan makes the scent slightly sweet during the drydown.
The longevity is great for a Byredo. After 8 hours it is still noticeable and even the sage from the top note is still recognizable. The sillage is strong for 2-3 hours and then slowly becomes a little more intimate.
It fits perfect for spring/summer, as despite its spiciness it is not too heavy is.
Initially very woody and sage-like, later noticeably smoother, more like herbal tea with honey.
It's definitely not a typical fragrance that you can pigeonhole, but I think it's still an all-rounder that everyone should like and everyone should try at least once.
