Tom Ford Bois Marocain

Tom Ford Bois Marocain

Originally Bois Marocain by Tom Ford first introduced in 2009 and discontinued in 2013. After many people wanted the fragrance back, a short-term limited version of the fragrance onto the market.

But quite surprisingly, Tom Ford has now October 2022 decided again Bois Marocain to give a chance.

The fragrance has a strong pepper note which has become a smoky spice and strong resin develop.

Bois Marocain means "Moroccan wood", which is reflected in the fragrance after a while. But rather earthy woody , instead of spicy and woody like at the beginning.

The scent is very difficult to describe, as everything is a little bit like wrapped in smoke  seems to be.

A scent of lots of earth, caused by the successful mixture of Frankincense, vetiver, cedarwood and patchouli and in order not to create too much heaviness, with a delicate hint of bergamot .

On the one hand, the scent awakens the desire to spend a cold winter day outside in the walking in the snow to go, but on the other hand somehow also the wide open spaces of endless desert to explore.

The durability and silage is very good due to the dominant, strong and woody notes. After spraying in the afternoon, Bois Marocain still strongly noticeable on the skin in the morning.

The scent is certainly not perfect for everyone, maybe even for very few, but it is still worth a try.
